Hi, I’m a musician based in Charlotte, North Carolina. I made this website to archive a life in music thus far, and also to create an online portal for my students to schedule lessons with me.
I’m a songwriter, performer and a home producer working within Ableton & Logic. My current music projects are Flannelmouth (guitar, lead vocals) and Modern Moxie (lead guitar). Sometimes I release solo music under the moniker Invader Houses. A few of my past music projects include Serfs, RNIE and Pullover.
My full-time job is teaching music. I give private lessons locally in Charlotte, as well as virtually. I have many students of varying ages. Lessons with me usually center around learning the fundamentals by way of learning how to play songs you enjoy. It’s how I learned. When appropriate I also like to dive into music theory and chat about songwriting on either a technical or philosophical level. Or we can just learn riffs, I’m flexible.
